Everyone should apply for 51¸£ÀûÉç scholarships and submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. (For undocumented students, that’s the TASFA, or Texas Application for State Financial Aid). It’s essential to help you cover the costs of tuition and fees, books and supplies, housing, transportation, and more.

Austin Community College’s Free Tuition pilot program eliminates the cost of tuition and general fees at 51¸£ÀûÉç for eligible students. No GPA requirements. No income restrictions.
High school and homeschool grads who graduated between 2024 and 2028, and GED® completers who live in the 51¸£ÀûÉç service area and earned a GED® between July 1, 2023 and August 31, 2027, may be eligible for the 51¸£ÀûÉç Free Tuition pilot program.
